About Mirin Mooney

I truly believe the world would be a better place if we could all learn to know ourselves intimately, love ourselves wholeheartedly, and express ourselves fearlessly.
Change is my comfort zone, I grew up with it.

Born in Ireland, I started travelling from a young age, growing up in Italy,  France, & England. From an early age I learned to be open and non-judgemental, and that any idea of who one ought to be is subjective, defined by culture and upbinging. These experiences gifted me with the capacity to see through the layers of culture and persona we develop, to pierce straight to the heart of what is really going on.

Even so, throughout my teens and early twenties I struggled deeply with the reality of the world we live in, resulting in a deep disconnection from myself as I attempted to fit into it. This resulted in depression, self-harm, a failed suicide attempt, and an eating disorder (or two). ​As modern western treatments failed me, I reached a tipping point and embarked on my personal journey of discovery and self-healing. Searching for that something more that I knew was missing, I dedicated the past decade to traveling the world and learning from ancient and modern cultures and their alternative approaches to healing.

In the process I have become deeply passionate about:

  • Sustainable living (on a personal, local, and communal level)
  • Connection (with self, other, nature, purpose and the planet)
In my offerings I draw from the ancient philosophies of yoga, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, Shamanism, and a variety of energy healing techniques. These combined with modern psychotherapy, mindfulness, coaching, and creativity are what inform all of the services I provide. Thus, it is my mission to support others in becoming free from the tyranny of the mind, empowered in their choices, and capable of living the deeply fulfilling life that your soul craves

What's in it for you?

At the intersection between coaching and therapy, mental health and spirituality is where this work lies. In the one-to-one work, we discover what it is that your soul truly craves and get to the CORE ROOT of what is holding you back, so you can be fearless in your self expression and create a life in alignment with your true authentic self. Whether it's healing trauma, rewriting limiting belief systems, overcoming shame, creating new habits and patterns, knowing and understanding yourself better, or deconditioning from who you ought to be so you can embrace who you are meant to be.

Each person is UNIQUE in their needs, thus all work is personalized to support your individuality in flourishing.

This work isn't for everyone, and having the correct and aligned support is ESSENTIAL. Thus, a free 30-minute (no strings attached) introductory call is a pre-requisite for all one-to-one work so we can get to know each other, and discover if we are a good match. I know coaching is an investment, and doubts about whether it is really worth it or whether you'll get the what you need out of it come up as you consider this option, that is why the introductory call is mandatory.

sustainable growth takes time.

This isn’t for beginners,
but instead for those who have already begun to do some inner work.

This isn’t comfortable in the short term,
but deeply satisfying in the long term.

It requires courage and patience,
that you DO THE WORK
